Charles Fox

Charles Fox is the President of ZeroPoint Clean Tech, Inc., a renewable energy technology company that has developed a highly efficient biomass gasification system that converts biomass into renewable electricity and thermal energy. Prior to joining ZeroPoint, Charlie served six years as the Deputy Secretary for Energy and the Environment during the administration of former New York Governor George E. Pataki. In that role Charlie was instrumental in the development of clean energy policy, including the New York Renewable Portfolio Standard and the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. From 1998-2000 Charlie served as the General Counsel to the Adirondack Park Agency, a regional land use and development agency headquartered in Ray Brook, NY. Charlie was a real estate attorney for New York’s open space conservation program from 1994 through 1998, handling over 300,000 acres of land preservation transactions. Charlie graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1989 and received a law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1991. Charlie currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse. Charlie, his wife Valerie, and their son Nicholas live in Princeton, NJ.
